Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric (I1 0.1) protect your car interior from coffee, wine, cola, etc by treating it with I1 Smart Fabric Coat.
Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric is unlike regular coatings, the nano particles of Gtechniq I1 actually coat the individual fibres of the fabric thereby leaving the 'breathability' and feel of the fabric unaffected. The former means that stale air can still escape but at the same time repelling any water or oil based liquids. Being solvent based ensures a much deeper penetration of the active ingredient giving an I1 treated surface much better durability and overall performance. Typically an Gtechniq I1 treated surface will outlast conventional water repellent coatings by a factor of approximately x5 with durability on soft-tops for example, lasting as much as three years.

Very Hydrophobic, liquids just bead straight off. Easy application ... the smell lingered in the car for 2 weeks but now ok..

Haven't had the chance to spill a liquid and test it out. However, application is really easy. Also, no smell.

Very strong smell during application but absolutely no traces after drying in 12 hours. Fabric texture doesn't feel any different. Works as stated when tested on the fabric arm rest.
